About the font ZapfChanceryTT Italic

ZapfChanceryTT Italic is a TrueType version of the classic chancery italic modelled on Hermann Zapf's Zapf Chancery, with Cyrillic and Latin letters. The strokes imitate a broad pen: narrow, slanted lowercase with long ascenders and descenders, graceful capitals with gentle swashes and a calm, flowing rhythm, and old-style figures. The preview shows a full Latin set and a few special signs.

The formal, calligraphic tone has long been the default for invitations, certificates, diplomas, menus, wedding stationery, poems and quotations. It reads well in short passages and at medium or large sizes. In all capitals the elegance disappears, and in very small sizes the thin strokes fade, so keep it in mixed case.
