About the font Xenia Condensed Cyrillic

Xenia Condensed Cyrillic is a bold condensed slab serif with Cyrillic and Latin letters, in the manner of old wood-type and newspaper headlines. The slabs are thick and square, the strokes heavy and even, the proportions narrow and tall, and the lowercase has a large x-height and sturdy build. The figures are lining and compact, and the punctuation is complete.

The tight, strong colour fits headlines, newspaper-style layouts, posters, shop signs, labels and anything that needs a lot of text in a narrow space with a strong voice. It is clear at medium and large sizes. The tight spacing and weight become dense in long paragraphs, so it is best for headings and short, emphatic pieces.
