About the font WindCTT

WindCTT is a bold sans serif with Cyrillic and Latin on which a texture of fine horizontal streaks is laid, so that the letters look windswept or brushed by speed lines. The shapes underneath are sturdy and narrow, with rounded corners, and the lowercase is large and compact; the figures and punctuation are complete. The scratchy lines make the edges look frayed. It is listed among art and decorative fonts, and the file is large at 179 Kb.

It suits posters on sport, speed, travel and weather, music covers, game titles and logos in Russian as well as Latin, at a large size. The streaks soften the legibility, so keep it for short, striking words. At small sizes the lines turn to noise and long text becomes tiring.
