About the font VivaldiD CL

VivaldiD CL is a flourished italic script in the spirit of Vivaldi, the elegant 1960s display italic by Imre Reiner: light, slanted, almost hairline strokes, tall narrow letters and capitals with long, sweeping tails and loops. The lowercase has a lively, quill-like rhythm, the figures are slim and slanted, and Latin and Cyrillic are included. A few symbols in the preview are fragmentary.

The mood is that of a musical programme, a wedding invitation or a fine-restaurant menu, graceful and slightly theatrical. It suits invitations, certificates, perfume and boutique branding, album and concert titles and short quotations at a large size. The fine, tall letters weaken at small sizes and in all capitals, so keep it for a few words in mixed case.
