About the font Venski Sad Two Medium

Venski Sad Two Medium is a richly ornamented copperplate script by A. L. Gophmann, drawn with fine hairlines, tall slanted letters and capitals wrapped in curling flourishes and tiny decorative loops, as if growing like climbing plants. The lowercase is narrow, tightly joined and delicate, and several symbols are drawn with their own small ornaments. Some positions in the set are empty.

The name evokes a Viennese garden, and the lavish line does resemble the engraved lettering of nineteenth-century visiting cards, certificates and menus. It needs large sizes and plenty of space, suits names, monograms and festive headings in mixed case, and cannot be used for running text.
