About the font Van Helsing

Van Helsing is a themed display face from the Fonts from films category, and it takes its name from the vampire-hunter film of that title. In the preview it appears as thin, high-contrast capitals with delicate serifs and wide spacing, with a second line of the same letters in a smaller size. The lower rows show very small, almost hairline text strips, so the details of lowercase and figures are hard to judge from the sample alone.

The feeling is gothic and theatrical, like a title card or a film poster for a period horror or adventure story. It suits horror and fantasy titles, event posters, book covers and credits-style captions. Because the strokes are so fine, it is a headline face for large sizes on a dark or plain background and does not hold up in small text.
