About the font Unicorn

Unicorn is a heavy display serif with swashy, slightly quirky forms. The capitals are black and wide, with flared terminals and bold curves, and several of them, such as the E, F and R, have decorative notches and spurs. The lowercase is tightly spaced and chunky, with a large x-height, and the figures are just as thick. The categories place it between serif and handwritten styles.

It has the playful, storybook feeling of a theatre poster or a fairytale title, a long way from a restrained book face. It works in covers, posters, packaging, children's materials and short logos. The thick strokes and close spacing clog quickly at small sizes, so it needs room and a big size.
