About the font Uk_Arbat Bold

Uk_Arbat Bold is a bold, slanted brush-pen script with Latin and Cyrillic, tagged handwritten. The letters are wide and rounded, written with a flat tool that gives thick, even strokes and thin joins, and they lean forward in a relaxed, confident hand; capitals are large and open, and the figures follow the same slant.

The name points to the Arbat, the well-known pedestrian street of Moscow, and the lettering has the cheerful, sign-painter feel of street shops, cafes and souvenir stalls. It suits shop signs, menus, posters, logos and short headings in mixed case at medium to large sizes; in all capitals or long text the rounded forms become heavy.
