About the font Txt

Txt is a thin, single-line technical lettering of the kind used in drafting and CAD drawings: hairline strokes of even weight, simple open shapes, wide spacing and a mechanical, plotter-like construction. Capitals, lowercase, figures and punctuation are present, with a few small oddities such as a box standing in for one capital in the preview, and Cyrillic and Russian letters are included along with the Latin. It is listed among decorative fonts.

It suits technical drawings, architectural and engineering sheets, schematics, maps and labels, blueprint-style posters and minimalist graphics where a precise, drawn-by-machine look is wanted. At small sizes and on screens the hairlines grow faint, so use a dark colour on a light background and a larger size. It lacks the weight for headlines or body copy, so it is best kept for annotations and delicate display lines.
