Tiranti Solid LET Plain is a decorative italic calligraphic face, with slim, slanted letters written in a pointed-pen style: capitals with long swashes and curled entry strokes, a lively, narrow lowercase and figures in the same flowing hand. The strokes are fairly even in weight with gently swelling curves, and some symbols are simplified. No designer is named in the data.

It carries the poise of invitations, certificates, restaurant menus, book covers and short elegant titles, and it keeps a handmade charm without being heavy. It works best at a medium or large size in mixed case. In all capitals the swashes collide, and long text in such a slanted script is tiring, so keep it to short lines.
