About the font Times New Romance

Times New Romance is a bold italic decorative face in the shape of a heavy, wedge-like Didone, with Latin letters only and a name that plays on Times New Roman. The capitals are broad and sloping with swelling strokes, while the lowercase has teardrop terminals and ball-like ends that give it a slightly flamboyant, ornamental character.

It works as a title face for romance, vintage-style posters, cafe and boutique signs, invitations and headline quotes. In small text the heavy curves close up and lose clarity, and the exaggerated italics wear on the eye over longer lines.
