About the font street cred

street cred is a distressed graffiti-style display face made of heavy, stencil-like capitals with ragged, spray-worn edges, as if sprayed through a cut template and then scuffed. The upper row shows tall bold capitals and the second row smaller capitals in the same manner, while the figures are narrow and equally rough. In the preview the symbol positions hold small doodled glyphs instead of ordinary punctuation.

The mood is urban, rebellious and retro, like street posters, skate and hip-hop flyers, band merchandise and gritty packaging. It works for large titles and short slogans in capitals. The rough texture is detailed, so it needs a big size; in small or long text it becomes noisy and hard to read.
