Shoguns Clan is a rough brush-and-ink display face in a pseudo-Asian manner: capitals drawn with fast, jagged, dry-brush strokes that look splashed on with a broad brush, with sharp hooks and uneven edges. Both rows in the preview are capitals, the figures follow the same rough brush, and the file is fairly large, around 118 KB, because of the detailed outlines. It is listed among art and Eastern fonts, with Latin letters only.
The mood is martial, dramatic and handmade, suited to martial-arts posters, samurai and ninja game titles, dojo and tea branding, action film graphics and band merchandise. It works at a large size, in names and short titles. Imitations of Asian script can look like a cliché, so use it with care for cultural accuracy, and avoid long text.
