About the font Sea Dog 2001 Shadow

Sea Dog 2001 Shadow is a wide, angular sci-fi display face by Dan Zadorozny with a solid drop shadow, Latin only. The letters are built from flat horizontal bars and sharp diagonal cuts, with hooked and pointed terminals like the lettering of a spaceship panel, and the lowercase row repeats the capitals. The shadow gives every stroke a raised, three-dimensional look. Some letters are hard to tell apart.

It carries the feel of space games, science-fiction film titles and futuristic logos. It works for short titles, logos and names at a large size on a plain background, where the shadow can be seen. The unusual shapes slow reading, so it is not for text.
