About the font ScriptC

ScriptC is a refined upright-leaning cursive modelled on the round-hand writing taught in schools and copybooks. The strokes are thin and even, with a delicate contrast between hairline connectors and slightly fuller downstrokes, narrow ovals, long ascenders and simple looped capitals that stay restrained. The figures follow the same careful slant. Cyrillic, Russian and Latin letters are all included, and the preview shows complete capitals, lowercase and figures.

It calls to mind handwritten letters, certificates, diplomas, exercise books and invitations, with a neat, well-schooled hand rather than showy flourishes. It reads best at a medium or large size, in mixed case and in short passages such as greetings, names, captions and quotes. The light line fades at small sizes and on busy backgrounds, and all-capital lines break the joined rhythm, so keep copy short.
