About the font SchoolBookC Bold Italic

SchoolBookC Bold Italic is a bold italic in the manner of Century Schoolbook: wide, sturdy, rounded letters, bracketed serifs and a calm, steady slant. The weight is dark, but the shapes stay open and readable.

The C in the name stands for the Cyrillic version, so the tags list Cyrillic and Russian. This kind of face was long associated with school primers, because the forms are clear for beginners. It works for emphasis in textbooks, children's books and plain editorial layouts.
