About the font Sans Serif Shaded

Sans Serif Shaded is a block-capital display face by Dieter Steffmann with a three-dimensional shaded effect: heavy, rounded sans capitals with a thick dark side shadow running down and to the right, which lifts the letters off the page. Capitals and lowercase share one form, so the preview shows two rows of capitals plus figures. Only Latin is supported, and many punctuation marks are missing in the preview.

The look is that of old posters, sign-painted storefronts, vintage advertisements and playful packaging, with a bold, retro-fairground tone. It works for titles, logos, banners, labels and short slogans at a large size, ideally in colour on a light background. The shadow fills in at small sizes and long lines look cluttered, so keep it to a few big words.
