About the font Rondo Calligraphic

Rondo Calligraphic, by Ivan D Zeifert, is a formal script in the roundhand tradition. The capitals are lavish, with generous swashes and loops, while the lowercase is a sloped, connected pen script with a lively rhythm; the figures are small and upright. Cyrillic is included alongside Latin.

The feel is of an old certificate, a pre-war menu or a wedding card. It works at a large size in titles, invitations, diplomas and short greetings, in mixed case; all capitals become heavy and illegible, and long passages of connected script tire the eye.
