About the font Rodeo Bold

Rodeo Bold is a bold slab serif with Cyrillic and Latin, in the manner of the classic Egyptian and Rockwell-style slabs. The serifs are thick, flat and squared, the stems are heavy and even, the capitals are wide and sturdy, and the lowercase is large and sharply legible, with figures in the same strong style. The preview shows a full set with ordinary punctuation.

The weight and the slab serifs carry the sound of western posters, farm and workshop signs, newspaper headlines and sturdy packaging, and the face fits titles, banners, menus and logos in Russian as well as Latin. It is clear and strong at medium and large sizes. In long paragraphs the heavy slabs produce a dark page, so use it for headings and short texts.
