About the font Psaltyr

Psaltyr is a font from the Slavic category, listed with Cyrillic, Latin and Russian support. The name is the Church Slavonic word for the Psalter. In the preview the ordinary Latin letters appear as empty boxes, and only a few traditional-looking glyphs and diacritic-like marks are drawn, which suggests that the real letters sit in unusual code positions meant for old Slavic or ecclesiastical text.

Therefore it is a font for specialists: church-book layouts, liturgical and historical Slavonic material, with its own keyboard mapping. For ordinary Latin or modern Cyrillic it will not give normal results, and it should be tested with the exact text before being used in any project.
