About the font POSTOFFICE

POSTOFFICE is a heavy, wide slab-serif face with a 3D inline: thick block serifs, tight counters and a thin highlight line cut along each stroke, so the letters look embossed or lit from one side. Capitals, lowercase and figures all share this chunky, engraved look, and a few symbols are drawn in the same style. It is listed among 3D and Western fonts, and no designer is named in the data.

It calls up wanted posters, saloon and general-store signs, old parcel labels and rodeo bills. It suits large titles, labels and logos, where the inline stays visible and clean. At small sizes the highlight fills in and long text is heavy going, so use it for display and a few words.
