About the font Pointedly Mad

Pointedly Mad is a Western display face from the "Fonts from films" category: tall, heavy, slightly condensed capitals with sharp, pointed serifs and tapering strokes, with a small tooth in the middle, like the type of nineteenth-century wanted posters. The lowercase repeats the capitals in small form, so both rows look alike. The Latin alphabet is covered.

It evokes the Wild West, saloons, wanted notices and cowboy-film titles. It looks right in a short headline at a large size, with its spikes visible; at small sizes it clogs, and the pointed forms make paragraphs hard to read.
