About the font Play Rus

Play Rus is an Art Deco display sans with a tall, narrow build and thin, monoline strokes: the round letters such as O, C, G and Q are almost perfect circles, the straight stems are slender, and there is a high crossbar and slim, elegant figures. Capitals and lowercase share one form, so the preview shows two similar rows. Latin and Cyrillic are listed.

The look recalls cinema marquees, theatre posters, hotel signage and jazz-age packaging, with a stylish, geometric elegance. It works for logos, titles, restaurants and cocktail menus, fashion and event posters in capitals at a large size. The thin line and narrow letters weaken in small sizes and make long text tiring, so use it for headings.
