About the font Pirulen

Pirulen by Ray Larabie is a wide, flat techno face in the cyber category. The capitals are stretched sideways with squared bowls and rounded corners, drawn in an even, medium weight, and the lowercase repeats the capital forms; the figures and punctuation are complete. The proportions give a calm, expansive rhythm, like the lettering on a spacecraft or a gadget. It is and Latin only.

It works for logos, game and tech titles, sci-fi covers, packaging for electronics and short headings in a large or medium size, in capitals and with generous spacing. The wide forms take a lot of horizontal room and slow the reading, so it is not meant for paragraphs, but for a name or a line.
