About the font Nightmare 5

Nightmare 5 is a horror-category display face, but its preview here is very small and mostly shows rows of repeated ornamental marks, so the letterforms cannot be judged reliably. The category and the name suggest ragged, spooky, dark capitals in the tradition of haunted-house, slasher and Halloween lettering. The file is tiny at 20 Kb, which usually means a compact set limited to basic Latin characters.

Faces of this kind are used for horror posters, Halloween invitations, haunted-attraction flyers, spooky game titles and short dramatic headings at a large size. Test your exact text on the font page before using it, check how figures and punctuation look, and keep it to a few words, since decorated horror letters tire the eye in running text.
