About the font NewZelek

NewZelek is a geometric display face with Latin and Cyrillic, built from heavy shapes cut by thin diagonal gaps, like a stencil. The letters are wide and rounded, with sharp angled terminals and light slits that split bowls and stems, and the lowercase repeats the capitals at a smaller size. Figures are heavy and cut in the same way.

It has a modern, dynamic and slightly sporty or sci-fi feeling, like a racing logo or a space poster. It works for titles, logos, banners and short slogans at a large size. At small sizes the slits close or break the shapes, and long text becomes hard to read.
