About the font New Brilliant

New Brilliant by Ray Larabie is an ultra-wide, flat techno face drawn in double hairlines: each capital is a long, low outline with a thin channel inside, like glass tubing or a chrome trim. The proportions are very extended, the corners squared, and the strokes thin, with the lowercase set as small versions of the capitals. The preview shows digits and a few emblem-like symbols. It is listed as a cyber face, Latin only.

It looks like automotive badges, space-game interfaces and futuristic logos. Use it for short names, titles and logos at a large size, in capitals and with generous letterspacing, in a bright colour on a dark ground. The hairlines vanish at small sizes and in dense text, so it is not suited to reading.
