About the font Motter Tektura Cyrilic

Motter Tektura Cyrilic is a wide, rounded display face with a retro-futuristic flavour: the letters are built from circles and rounded rectangles, with horizontal slits and cut-in notches, and the lowercase mixes forms with the capitals. In the preview a few letters have decorative bites, and the lowercase has unusual turned shapes. The category list notes Cyrillic and Russian support.

The look belongs to the late 1960s and 1970s: record sleeves, space-age posters, sci-fi titles, club flyers and logos. It needs a large size on a simple background to keep the cut-outs readable. Long words and small text turn into patterns, so use it for a few big words rather than reading copy.
