About the font Matura MT Script Capitals

Matura MT Script Capitals is a decorative calligraphic face of the Monotype library, drawn with a broad pen: slanted capital letters with dynamic, curving strokes, sweeping tails, small curls and an informal, quill-written rhythm. Lowercase letters are cut as smaller capitals, so the preview shows two similar rows. Latin and Cyrillic are listed, and a few symbols are made as ornamental forms.

The tone is festive, medieval-fairy and a little theatrical, familiar from invitations, menus, certificates, wine and chocolate labels and fantasy-style titles. It works at a medium or large size in short phrases and names. All-capital calligraphy is slow to read and the swashes tangle in long text, so avoid paragraphs.
