About the font MATTEROFFACT

MATTEROFFACT is a grungy, horror-flavoured display face. The capitals are tall and heavy, and every edge is ragged, with thin spikes, drips and scratches that make the letters look dripping, torn or smeared in ink. The lowercase follows the same rough treatment in a smaller size, and the figures and a few symbols are equally shaky. The category list marks it as art, decorative and horror, with Latin letters only.

The effect belongs to horror film posters, Halloween parties, haunted-house flyers, metal band artwork, zombie games and spooky social posts. It needs a large size and a plain dark or red background to read well. At small sizes the drips merge into noise, and long text turns into a smear, so use it for a name or a short line.
