About the font Kaufmann BT

Kaufmann BT is a lively connected brush script with Latin only, listed as handwritten. The slanted letters join in a flowing line, with thick-and-thin strokes from a brush, tall loops on the ascenders and capitals with generous curls, and the figures follow the same slant. The impression is of fast, confident lettering done by a skilled sign painter.

It has an optimistic, mid-century advertising spirit and suits logos, signs, labels, greetings and short headlines in mixed case at a large size. All capitals break the joins and are hard to read, and long text in a heavy connected script tires the eye.
