About the font JaneAusten

JaneAusten is an elegant script by Pia Frauss, modelled on the fine pen handwriting of the early nineteenth century. Thin, sloping, connected letters with long loops and small flourishes imitate letters written with a quill, in the spirit of the novelist's era. The style name is NoSecret, and Latin is covered.

It is made for wedding invitations, certificates, historical stories, period-drama titles and formal greetings. The fine, intricate lines need size and space; at small sizes the loops merge, and all-capital words are hard to read.
