About the font Gertruda Victoriana Normal

Gertruda Victoriana Normal, by Gophmann AL, is a decorative Art Nouveau serif from the fairy-tale and vintage categories, with Cyrillic and Latin: narrow letters with swelling stems, curled hooks and ornamented capitals whose loops and spurs turn inward. The lowercase is compact, with crisp serifs and a vertical stress.

The name points to the Victorian era, and the drawing recalls turn-of-the-century book covers, fairy-tale illustrations and bakery or perfume packaging. It works for titles, book covers, invitations and labels in a medium to large size; the ornate capitals become fussy in all-caps words.
