About the font Foo

Foo by Ray Larabie is a heavy, geometric display face in the fonts-from-films category, free to use. The capitals are chunky and wide, with round bowls, squared-off terminals and a few flared or cut strokes, giving a deco-meets-sci-fi poster look. The lowercase repeats the capital forms in smaller sizes, the figures are bold, and the preview shows a few symbols and a small badge in place of some punctuation. Latin only.

It suits sci-fi and retro movie titles, posters, comic-style graphics, game titles and loud headlines at a large size, in capitals. The heavy weight and tight counters fill in at small sizes, and long text in it is tiring, so use it for one line or a name.
