About the font Face Front

Face Front is a casual, hand-drawn comic font by S. John Ross, written in a wide, rounded, slightly oblique brush-pen style. The letters are bold and friendly, with wobbly outlines, rounded ends and uneven edges like marker lettering, and the lowercase is almost the same size as the capitals, giving a loose, comic-balloon rhythm. The figures and symbols follow the same loose style.

It feels like lettering from a comic strip, a game manual or a handwritten notice. It suits comics, tabletop-game materials, flyers, children's books, notes, signs and humorous headlines. Because the weight and wobbly outlines are tiring in dense paragraphs, it works best at medium and large sizes and in short passages.
