Ethnocentric is an extended sans serif by Ray Larabie, a wide, flat-topped display face that looks like a spaceship interface. The letters are built from circles and horizontal bars with sharp angled cuts, and the capitals and lowercase share almost the same design, with a distinctive R and K. The preview shows a set of futuristic figures, plus a tiny embedded logo among the symbols.
It is a science-fiction and tech classic, used for game titles, space and robot themes, gadgets, electronic music covers and posters. It must be used large and with plenty of tracking room, as the width makes lines run out of space quickly. In long text and small sizes it is hard to read.
