About the font Elsie

Elsie, by Alejandro Inler, is a modern, high-contrast serif in the Didone tradition. The capitals are refined, with hairline serifs and sharply thick stems, the lowercase has tall, elegant forms, and several letters, such as the Q, y and g, carry long swashes and curling tails in the preview. The figures are old-style. Its tags are elegant, feminine, formal, headline, invitations, swashed and wedding.

The delicate contrast and flourishes suit wedding invitations, fashion and beauty magazines, perfume and boutique branding, menus and large headlines. It looks best at a generous size on a light background with good print quality. At small sizes the hairlines fade, and the swashes need room around them.
