About the font DS Kolovrat

DS Kolovrat is a regular-weight, slab-serif face by Dubina Nikolay, with Cyrillic and Latin letters. The serifs are plain and rectangular, the strokes are even, and the forms are wide and tidy, with a calm, typewriter-adjacent feel but without fixed spacing. The figures are clean, and in the preview two punctuation marks appear as empty boxes.

The neat, slightly retro slab suits headings, short text, labels, price tags, posters and informal documents, and gives a sober, workmanlike tone with some character. It reads well on screen at medium sizes. Because of the even weight and wide letters, it gets heavy in long columns, so use it for short pieces and check punctuation.
