About the font Display Dots

Display Dots builds every letter from a grid of small round dots, like a lit LED matrix or a dot-matrix print. Capitals, lowercase, figures and punctuation all use the same wide, squarish construction, with the lowercase only a little smaller than the capitals.

Because the shapes exist only as dot patterns, curves turn into stepped diagonals and the font reads best when it is big enough for each dot to stay visible. It is a natural fit for scoreboards, ticket and departure-board looks, retro gadget screens and techno posters; small text and long lines lose the dot pattern and turn to noise.
