About the font Desdemona

Desdemona is an outline face in the Art Deco and Arts-and-Crafts spirit: slender, slightly condensed capitals drawn as a thin double line, so the letters read as hollow shapes with a fine contour. The lowercase repeats the same open drawing at smaller height, with geometric round letters and straight stems, and some letters have a decorative angled cut. Latin letters only.

The linear, hollow design looks elegant and a little theatrical, good for posters, theatre and cinema titles, boutiques, invitations and headings with a 1920s or 1930s mood. Fine outlines vanish at small sizes, so use it large, on a plain background and in a dark colour.
