About the font DesdaC

DesdaC is an Art Deco sans display face with Latin and Cyrillic and a Russian set: tall, narrow letters of even, medium-thin stroke with split, open constructions, high crossbars and tapering terminals, so some capitals look broken in two. The lowercase repeats the capital shapes at a smaller height, and the figures follow the same style. It is tagged decorative, and no designer is named in the data.

It evokes 1920s and 30s theatre posters, cinema marquees, hotel signs and cocktail menus. It suits logos, invitations, headings and short titles at a medium or large size. Long lines of tall narrow letters tire the eye, so keep it for display.
