About the font Decor Bold Italic

Decor Bold Italic is a bold, slanted pen script in the roundhand tradition, with confident, heavier strokes, swelling downstrokes, hairline joins and capitals with large loops that sweep across the line. The lowercase leans to the right and connects in a smooth, rhythmic line, and the figures follow the same slant. The preview shows complete Latin letters and figures; the listing also gives Cyrillic and Russian sets in the same style.

The heavier weight makes the formal script more visible than a thin copperplate, suited to invitations, certificates, shop signs, greeting cards, menus, labels and short elegant headlines. It works at a medium to large size in mixed case, since all capitals tangle the loops and long text becomes tiring. It has a graceful yet sturdy voice, which holds up better on busy backgrounds and in print on ordinary paper.
