About the font CyrillicRevue

CyrillicRevue is a heavy sans with a flared, slightly theatrical build, with both Latin and Cyrillic. Strokes swell a little at the ends, the counters are small, and the capitals look broad and sturdy while the lowercase stays compact. The figures are bold and square-shouldered.

The name suggests a stage show, and the face does recall poster lettering of the mid-twentieth century. It is made for large headlines, shop signs and event titles with Russian or English wording, and it clogs in small sizes and long lines.
