About the font Copyist Thin

Copyist Thin is a hairline copperplate script by Ivan Zeifert with delicate, slanted letters and capitals crowned by double loops and long entry strokes, as if written with a pointed steel nib. It covers the Latin alphabet.

The name refers to the scribes who copied documents by hand, and the lettering recalls the neat, formal hand of old letters and certificates. At small sizes the hairlines nearly disappear, so it needs a large size and a dark ink colour on a light page to keep its elegance visible.
