Commercial Script BT is the Bitstream version of a classic formal roundhand script, the kind of writing once used for business letters and engraved stationery. The letters slant strongly to the right, the strokes swell and thin like a pointed pen, and the capitals carry looped flourishes while the lowercase joins smoothly in a single flowing line. The preview shows Latin only, with neat figures and a few ornamental symbols.
Its tone is traditional, respectful and slightly vintage: invitations, certificates, diplomas, bakery and restaurant signs, monograms and signature-style logos. It reads well in large mixed-case words and short lines. All capitals become tangled and fine hairlines break up in small sizes, so avoid long paragraphs.
