About the font Colourbars

Colourbars is a narrow, slanted display face by Ray Larabie, tagged Gothic. On the preview the capitals are tall and condensed, with a sharp forward slant, a calligraphic thick-thin contrast and little flares at the stroke ends; the lowercase has a lively, almost brush-pen movement, and the digits are narrow too.

The mood is stylish and a bit theatrical, like a poster for a concert or a fashion label. It suits titles, logos, music posters and packaging in short lines. Latin only; the narrow forms save space, which helps in tight headlines.
