About the font Clementine

Clementine is a comic-lettering face imitating the hand-written speech balloons of comic books: light, slightly rounded capitals with a quick, casual stroke, uneven heights and a lively baseline. Capital and lowercase letters share one form, so the preview shows two similar rows. Latin only, a few symbols are fragmentary, and the file is just 17 Kb.

It works for comic dialogue, speech balloons, fan translations, storyboards, children's captions, playful notes and casual posters. The light, friendly manner reads well in short bursts at a medium size. In long lines the all-capital setting becomes tiring, and at very large sizes the thin, wobbly line looks fragile, so keep it for short phrases.
