About the font Classica Two

Classica Two is a copperplate script, credited to A.L. Gophmann, drawn with a pointed pen: slender, slanted letters, hairline upstrokes, long entry strokes and capitals with looped swashes. The preview also shows a Cyrillic sample line in a similar slanted script, so Russian text is supported; the symbols include several ornamental flourishes.

The feel is a hand-written letter from an older time, suited to wedding invitations, certificates, diplomas, greeting cards, poetry covers, perfume labels and logos with a classic, romantic mood. The strokes are very fine, so a large size and dark colour on a light background are needed. In small sizes and all capitals it falls apart, and long text is tiring.
