About the font Chow Fun

Chow Fun is a pseudo-oriental brush face listed among Eastern fonts. The Latin letters are drawn with tapering strokes that swell and thin like a flat ink brush, with sharp flicks, diagonal cuts and a lively, slightly irregular rhythm, imitating the look of Chinese takeaway lettering. Capitals are wide, the lowercase is simple, and the figures follow the same brush.

The name suggests noodle shops, and the face suits Asian restaurant menus, takeaway packaging, martial arts and travel graphics and short titles at a medium or large size. It is a stylised imitation rather than a real script, so avoid claims of authenticity, and keep long text in another face.
