About the font Chianti Bold Win95BT

Chianti Bold Win95BT is a bold humanist sans with Latin and Cyrillic and a Russian set, in the spirit of an old-style Italian sans: open, slightly flared strokes, round bowls, a calm rhythm and a sturdy, friendly colour at this weight. The name points to the Bitstream version bundled with older Windows software, and no designer is given in the data.

It works for headings, labels, signs, packaging and short blocks of text where a warm, readable bold is needed, and its Cyrillic makes it usable for Russian-language material. A whole page in bold is heavy, so pair it with a lighter weight for body text.
